A masterclass in TikTok trend marketing — how we blew up Labubu in Israel before anyone else.
״The whole truth behind the ILS 10,000 Labubu״
״The Labubu trend took Israel by storm — and Candy World stores are at the heart of the phenomenon.״
״We don't chase trends — we spot them on TikTok before everyone else, and create them ourselves.״
Labubu Style is the viral-marketing arm of Guy Majar Holdings — effectively a living school for TikTok trend marketing. Guy Majar shows anyone who wants to learn how trends are spotted, built and blown up on social, and the play is already taught in Israeli digital-marketing courses and lectures.
When Labubu was just starting to explode in China through Pop Mart, nobody in Israel knew it yet. The group caught the signal early — using trend-prediction software Guy Majar built himself on AI technology and a proprietary model that scans video, hashtags and distribution patterns across TikTok and Asian platforms to detect what is about to break before the mainstream.
Acting on the model's recommendation, the group took a big bet and invested millions of shekels importing Labubu dolls into Israel at huge volume — months before the trend arrived. When the wave hit, we were the only ones with stock available, nationwide distribution through Candy World, and a Big Fashion Glilot flagship that became a collectors' pilgrimage site.
In parallel we ran a TikTok play: we staged a 'sale' of a rare Labubu doll for ILS 10,000, filmed it and posted. The video exploded to hundreds of thousands of views, created national buzz, and Mako ran an investigative piece headlined 'The whole truth behind the ILS 10,000 Labubu' — exactly the headline we were aiming for. Free PR worth tens of thousands of shekels that drove sales across every store.
As the Labubu trend peaked, the group moved to the next stage: collaborations with global mega-brands. Labubu Style × Lululemon, Halo Yoga, Nike and Adidas — an exclusive line bridging collectibles with premium sport and lifestyle, placing Labubu in an entirely new category in Israel.
We also launched the Labubu Style Limited Edition line — handmade dolls, numbered limited runs, collector packaging and a ILS 5,000 price tag per doll. A genuine collectible aimed at premium buyers and serious collectors in Israel and abroad.
This is the group's DNA: AI that spots a global trend before anyone else, a calculated financial bet on large inventory, and a staged viral campaign that generates both press and sales. The same model will be applied to the next trend — and the one after that.
